Social activist Graça Machel says that Mozambican society is sick and calls on everyone to reflect on social values, dignity of women and children.

Reacting to the case of the rape of the minor by four boys who were also minors, Graça Machael believes that the case should not be understood in isolation.

He advocated a deep reflection on moral values and, for this reason, believes it is necessary to put an end to what he called the “objectification” of women, according to a report in the newspaper “O País”.

The activist was speaking yesterday after visiting the Machava Quilómetro 15 elementary school in the municipality of Matola to express her solidarity with the minor filmed in sexual acts.

On that occasion, the activist and president of the Foundation for Community Development interacted with the school management and the students.

Meanwhile, the management of the educational institution refused to give any information about the situation of the children involved in the joint sexual act.
